Finally got our hands on this 2016 Komatsu PC220-8MO from Japan - took forever to clear customs but worth the wait. Yeah, it's got 12,000 km on the meter, but Japanese equipment hits different. Their operators don't treat machines like rental cars. Had our guy check everything last week - hydraulics still snap like they should, no weeping cylinders or mushy controls. Undercarriage looks honest with plenty of meat left on the tracks. Engine runs quiet - none of that knocking crap you hear when someone's skipped oil changes. Cab's cleaner than you'd expect - no crushed Monster cans or half-eaten sandwiches under the seat. A/C still blows cold which you'll appreciate come summer. Even the radio works, though hope you like Japanese stations 'cause I can't figure out how to reprogram it.
