Parting with our Dynapac plate compactor - not by choice, but the boss just won that bridge contract and wants to upgrade everything. The 120kg weight is hefty enough for serious compaction but still manageable for loading in/out of the truck bed. Hatz 1B20 engine starts reliably, though it's got that weird diesel knock when cold that goes away after a minute. Had to replace the throttle cable back in February after someone (probably Mike) yanked it too hard. 3-liter tank sounds tiny but honestly lasts longer than you'd expect - easily finished that 10-hour drainage job without refueling. The 92Hz frequency really thumps the material down - you can actually see the difference compared to that worn-out rental we had to use last month. Previous operator said the handle vibration is less than other special machinery he's run, though it still numbs your hands after a few hours.
