The head of the Russian Transport Ministry held talks with the UAE ambassador
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the development of road freight transportation. Each of the parties expressed the opinion that a developed transportation industry would be beneficial for the two countries.
The meeting of officials took place within the walls of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. Head of the agency Roman Starovoit talked to the authorized ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed Ahmed Al-Jaber, who said he sees potential in the development of the two countries in this direction.

“We see air transportation between the two countries growing steadily. There is even stronger growth in sea freight transportation. This time we talked about a new sphere - road transportation,” said the Minister of Transport.
It is not the first time that Roman Starovoit holds official meetings with high-ranking officials from the United Arab Emirates. In the last days of June, a productive conversation took place during the BRICS summit. Then Roman Starovoit held a meeting with the Minister of Infrastructure Development of the United Arab Emirates.
