Parting with our Dynapac rammer - not because there's anything wrong with it, just consolidating equipment after Jerry left the company. The 68kg weight makes it manageable to load in/out of the truck without throwing your back. That Honda GXR 120 is basically bulletproof - hasn't given us trouble except that time we accidentally left old fuel in it over winter (our mistake). Gets about 4-5 hours from the 3-liter tank depending how hard you're pushing it. Had to replace the air filter twice because of that dusty subdivision job last summer. The 280mm footplate still has good edges - not all rounded off like most used ones. Vibration at 10-11.8 Hertz feels just right for most soil types we deal with - you can actually see the difference compared to that worn-out rental we had to use when this one was being serviced. Previous operator mentioned his arms weren't nearly as tired after using this compared to other special machinery he's handled.
