Letting go of our 2014 Hamm 311D - not because there's anything wrong with it, but we just won that bridge contract and need something with a wider drum. This machine's been solid through nearly 3,000 hours of work. Had to replace the air filter twice because of that dusty quarry job last summer, but otherwise just routine maintenance. The cab suspension still feels tight - no rattling even when you're working rough terrain. Engine starts first time even after sitting weeks between jobs. Had a small hydraulic leak back in '22 that we fixed right away - hasn't given a drop of trouble since. Fuel gauge reads a bit low when it's actually quarter-full, but you get used to it. Our mechanic just did a full service last month - changed all fluids and checked the drum bearings.
