CARTER's stepping up their game with this CT12. Spent the morning running it around the yard and yeah, it's different from the micro units. Still compact enough for residential work but now you can actually dig a decent hole without repositioning constantly. Engine's noticeably stronger - probably 40% more power than the CT10. Actually pulls through heavy clay without bogging. Hydraulics feel more responsive too, not that toy-like movement the tiny ones have. Operator position's better thought out. Can actually see the bucket tip without craning your neck. Controls are still simple but smoother - less play in the linkages. Track width's perfect for standard gates but wide enough for stability. Ground pressure's still low enough for finished lawns which matters on service calls. Noticed the build quality's improved. Welds look professional, paint's thicker, even the hoses are routed cleaner.
