This CT08 is ridiculous in the best way. At 850kg it's lighter than some zero-turn mowers but actually digs trenches. The 7kw engine sounds weak until you realize physics works in your favor here - power to weight ratio's actually decent. Yeah the bucket only holds 0.022 cubic meters. That's like two shovelfuls. But you're not buying this to dig basements. You're buying it to trench next to finished landscaping without destroying everything. Controls are basic as it gets. Couple levers, no electronics to diagnose. Thing starts with a pull cord like a lawnmower on the base model. Tracks are narrow rubber bands basically but they work. Won't tear up established lawns which is huge for service work. Ground clearance is minimal so forget rough terrain. This is for finished surfaces, tight access, surgical digging. Maintenance is stupid simple. Change oil, clean air filter, grease three zerks. That's it. Parts are generic small engine stuff available everywhere.
