№637453 Prompt sale of front loader

Selling my trusty 1990 CAT 988B - been with us since '03 and never let us down once. Sure, 18,950 hours sounds high if you're used to those fancy new machines, but this old girl's just hitting her stride. Had the transmission rebuilt about 5 years back, and the engine overhauled in 2018 - runs better than when we got her. The seat's worn through in spots and the radio only picks up two stations clearly, but who cares when the hydraulics still lift smooth as butter? Our machinist swears the older CATs were built from better steel - might be nonsense but she's outlasted three newer loaders we've had. The bucket's original but been rewelded twice - still holds a full load without complaint. Special machinery from this era has a different feel - more mechanical, less computer nonsense to go wrong. Had a weird electrical gremlin last winter that would kill the dash lights, but our specialist found a loose ground wire and sorted it proper.
