Selling our Mercedes-Benz 2038 dump truck from 1996. Shows 280,012 km which honestly isn't bad for nearly thirty years old. These late 90s Mercedes trucks had something special about them - overbuilt in all the right places. Operator who's been running this one says it's predictable, starts every morning, does what it's supposed to. 10,000 kg capacity might seem light by today's standards but for certain jobs it's perfect. Not everyone needs a massive hauler. Engine's the original Mercedes unit, still pulls decent. Yeah it burns some oil now but what 1996 truck doesn't? Transmission shifts okay, maybe takes a second longer between gears when cold. Hydraulics work fine, tips clean. We've kept up basic maintenance - oil changes, filters, greasing.
