Time to part with our Volvo P5320B - not by choice, but just won that airport contract and need something with wider screed capacity. This 2021 model has been solid gold since day one. Engine starts instantly even after sitting idle for weeks between jobs. Had one minor issue with the right auger making a clicking noise last winter, but turned out just needed some adjustment - smooth as silk now. Previous operator wouldn't stop raving about how responsive the controls are compared to our older Dynapac. Tracks still have about 90% life left - we've been careful about running on abrasive surfaces. Electrical system is rock solid, none of those random glitches you get with other special machinery in this class. Hopper flaps move smoothly without that hydraulic hesitation our previous paver had. The screed heating elements all work perfectly - tested them last Thursday during that overnight patch job.
