Parting with our Grove RT600E from 2007 - the 50-ton 4x4x4 that's been our go-to for years. Yeah, she's got some miles on her, but don't let that fool you. Had it in some seriously tight spots last fall - narrow access road with a 15-degree slope after three days of rain. Newer crane couldn't even get positioned, but this old girl handled it without complaint. The special machinery still performs rock-solid at full extension. Cab's got the usual wear - coffee stains on the right armrest, that small tear in the seat our operator fixed with duct tape. He's actually threatened to quit twice since hearing we're selling his "baby." Engine starts first time, every time, even during that cold snap last January when it hit -12°. Maintenance has been religious - new cables last spring, hydraulics flushed annually, and fixed that annoying drip from the main valve that the dealer said couldn't be fixed.
