Fresh off the truck - our brand new 2025 CAT 216B3 skid steers have finally arrived! Been waiting for these since seeing the prototype at that industry show back in December. Got to take one for a proper test drive this morning and honestly, CAT wasn't exaggerating about the improvements. The cabin is dramatically quieter - you can actually have a conversation while operating without shouting. They've completely redesigned the joystick system too - much more responsive without that slight delay the older models had. Engine runs significantly cooler even after pushing it hard for an hour. Our mechanic thinks this should translate to better fuel efficiency and longer component life.
