So we got this 2021 CAT 120 that needs to go. Honestly hate selling it - machine's basically still new. Bought it when CAT redesigned the 120 series with updated controls and better fuel efficiency. The difference between this and older 120s is night and day. Our operator keeps asking if we're sure about selling because it runs so nice. Three years old but you'd think it just rolled off the lot. Everything's tight, no slop anywhere. These newer 120s fixed a lot of the issues the old ones had. Better visibility, controls make more sense, engine management actually saves fuel. We followed the severe service maintenance schedule even though the machine rarely worked that hard. Oil samples come back perfect every time. Still smells new inside the cab.
