Time to sell our 2010 GD825A-2. Gonna be honest, switching from CAT to Komatsu took some adjustment but this thing grew on us. It's a beast - the 825 series is bigger than what most people run. Bought it in 2014 from a mining contractor who was upgrading. Our operator complained for about two weeks then fell in love with how much power it has. Grading hard pack? This thing doesn't even slow down. Yeah the controls are different from CAT, hydraulics feel different too, but once you adapt it's fine. Komatsu dealer support surprised us - they actually answer the phone and get parts quick. Maintenance schedule's a bit different but our mechanic figured it out. We've done all the services, kept good records. Engine's strong, starts reliable.
