Time to let go of our Volvo FL6. 2003 model, 278k on it. Funny thing about these Swedish trucks - they just keep trucking. This special machinery's been perfect for those jobs where the big rigs are overkill. Construction supply runs, landscaping gigs, local deliveries. The E42R's got that sweet spot of being nimble enough for city work but tough enough for real hauling. Operator's been running this one for... what, five years now? Says it starts every morning without fail, even in winter. That's saying something. We've kept up with all the maintenance - oil changes like clockwork, filters when needed, usual stuff. Had to replace the starter motor last spring but that's about it for major repairs.
