Parting with our 11.30-ton HAMM - only because we just landed that airport contract and need something with different specs. This 2018 model has been rock solid through thick and thin. Had a weird issue with the vibratory system making a clunking noise around the 3,200 hour mark, but turned out just needed some bushings replaced - smooth as silk now. Cab still has that new feel to it - we were strict about no food or drinks inside. Engine burns maybe half a quart of oil every 100 hours, but that's been consistent since day one. Control panel has that small crack near the hour meter where someone dropped a wrench, but everything functions perfectly. The articulation joint is still tight - none of that slop you usually find in older machines. Previous operator commented that the drum maintains perfect alignment even on slopes where most special machinery tends to drift.
