Alright, this 2013 Caterpillar 420F has been my workhorse since 2018. Shows 7,360 hours which sounds like a lot but honestly for eleven-year-old CAT iron it's barely middle aged. Thing weighs eleven thousand kilos and every bit of that is proper steel, not the thin stuff they use now. Here's what matters - maintenance done every 250 hours without fail. Got receipts dating back five years, oil samples come back clean every time. Injectors rebuilt at 5,000 hours, turbo done same time. Hydraulic pumps still push strong, no whining or cavitation. Pins and bushings tighter than most five-year-old machines I've seen. Why? Because previous оператор actually gave a damn. Didn't hot-dog it, warmed it up mornings, cooled it down afternoons.
