Here's another brilliant purchase decision... 2025 Powerscreen Chieftain 1400. Smaller brother to the 2200 but still plenty capable. Or would be if we actually had material to screen. Bought this thinking compact equipment was the smart move. Tighter job sites, urban work, all that. Then everyone decided they wanted the big stuff again. Typical. 24,970 kg on tracks, moves around nice. CAT C4.4 giving it 131 horses - same engine as the bigger model actually. Powerscreen figured it's enough for the smaller screening box and they're right. Two deck setup handles most materials fine. 5.35 cubic meter hopper seems small till you realize it keeps up just fine. The tracks barely show wear. Maybe 40 hours runtime, mostly demos and me showing it off to guys who pretended to be interested.
