Just got our JCB back in yesterday. Been out on that water main project digging some serious trenches all month. This one's a decent 6.4 tonnes with proper 4 meter digging depth - makes all the difference when you need to get down to those deeper services. Had a utility contractor use it last week, saved them having to mess about with shoring for shallower trenches. Had a bit of trouble with the bucket linkage back in February. Kept developing play after a few hours' work. Workshop replaced all the pins and bushes rather than just the worn ones. Rock solid now, no movement even when really digging in.
