Electrical problems drive most mechanics crazy. We actually enjoy them. Cars, trucks, specialized machinery - they all have electrical systems that fail in creative ways. Modern vehicles are basically computers on wheels, and when the electronics go haywire, most shops just start guessing and replacing expensive parts. Not us. We trace problems properly. Take last week. Construction company brought in an excavator that wouldn't start. Three other shops told them they needed a new control module - $4,000 part. Turned out to be a corroded wire connection under the cab. Fixed it for the price of a coffee.
