Just got our JCB back after Dave sorted that leaky seal - all fixed now and running sweet. Been with us nearly 4 years this one, still goes better than the newer stuff with all their fancy electronics that break if you look at them wrong. The boom's got a bit of play after all these years but honestly that makes it easier to feather the controls for fine work. Beats those twitchy new models any day. Had the tracks tensioned last week so it's not throwing them anymore, even on loose stuff. Our regular machine operator Kolya's on holiday till Thursday, but Viktor can run it - bloke's been digging holes since before half these youngsters were born, knows exactly how to get the most out of older kit.
