Manual transmission gives you proper control over the truck. Better fuel economy than automatics and you can actually feel what the engine's doing. Some drivers prefer automatics, but manual's more reliable long-term. Rear-wheel drive configuration handles loaded situations well. Never had traction problems even when fully loaded in wet conditions.
