We've got this Massey Ferguson MF 385 with 4WD, 85 horsepower. Good tractor, been reliable for us. 4WD kicks in when ground gets soft or you're working hills. Engine runs solid, starts up fine even on cold mornings. The operator gets a cab that's comfortable enough for long days, controls are where they should be. 85HP gives you good power for medium to heavy work without being too much. Our specialist checked it over few weeks back - hydraulics are strong, transmission shifts smooth. The driver seat adjusts okay, visibility's decent all around. Had our machinist listen to the engine recently, said it sounds right for an 385. 4WD system engages cleanly, doesn't fight or bind up like some older setups. Steering responds well, no weird play in it.
