Alright so Case sent me this new backhoe and I swear they're just messing with us now. H4C4E7422*W? Even got an asterisk in there like it's some kinda footnote. Spent half hour trying to type it into inventory system, kept thinking I made a typo. Nope, that's actually what they called it. Whatever happened to simple names like 580K? Those were the days man. Anyway machine itself is standard Case underneath all that alphabet soup. Started it up this morning, runs smooth, hydraulics respond quick. They tweaked the controls again - apparently old layout was too simple so now everything's in slightly different spots. Your operator gonna need maybe extra hour figuring out where they moved stuff. Build quality's typical Case though - solid where it counts.
