Got our deep-digging JCB back Tuesday. Been out on that water main project getting down to some serious depths all month. This one's got the extended 3.7 meter reach - makes all the difference when you need to get down to those deeper services without messing about with benching. Had a utility firm use it last week, saved them nearly a day compared to the standard depth machine they'd used before. Had a bit of grief with it back in March. Main boom cylinder kept losing pressure when fully extended. Workshop replaced all the seals rather than just patching it up. Holding rock solid now, even when really stretching down. This special machinery's done about 3900 hours but honest to god it digs more accurately than when it was new. All worn in nice and tight, no wobble in the boom at all.
