Just got stuck with this 2025 Kobelco SK220 after Mikkelsen's project fell through. Damn shame, barely touched the thing - got the Indian-built model but with the proper Hino engine so don't let that worry ya. 21,900kg, zero actual working hrs. Was gonna keep it for the Henderson site but the boss's nephew brought in some other brand for God knows what reason. The 0.93m³ bucket's perfect for utility work - not too big where you're slopping material everywhere, not so tiny you're there all day. What impressed me most was how quick it swings - 13.3 rpm means you're not waiting around while the upper rotates. Got the 2.9m arm on it which gives decent reach without making it tippy. Had my guy Ramirez test the hydraulics last Thursday - said they're smooth as butter but with enough feedback so you're not guessing. Special machinery ain't cheap these days, but at least with this one you're getting what you pay for. Cab's actually got A/C that works & doesn't sound like a jet engine.
