We've got this Hyundai HD 72 that's been working routes in tighter neighborhoods where the bigger trucks have trouble. It's not huge but that's actually been an advantage - fits down narrow streets and into spots our larger trucks can't reach. The HD 72 is pretty reliable, starts up fine even in cold weather. Hydraulics work well for the size, lifts standard bins without issues. Engine's been good to us, doesn't burn oil or anything concerning. Fuel economy is better than the heavy trucks which helps with operating costs. Our driver likes it because it's easier to maneuver and park. Transmission's smooth, power steering makes tight turns manageable.
