We're selling this Massey Ferguson 285 that's been sitting around for a while. 2WD model - some folks prefer that over the complicated 4WD stuff. Engine starts up without fuss, runs steady. Nothing fancy about it but that's not always bad. The driver can see what's going on, seat's not terrible. Our specialist took a quick look last week, said it's fine. Hydraulics work, though they're not the fastest you'll see. The operator will figure out the controls pretty quick - they put everything where it makes sense. Had our machinist listen to the engine recently. He shrugged and said it sounds normal.
