This 2012 Scania G480 6x2 has a block crane setup that's seen some work but still operates fine. The 6x2 configuration gives you good stability when the crane's working. Driver compartment holds up pretty well for a truck that's over 10 years old now. Scania builds them to last and this one proves it. Had our specialist go through everything couple weeks back, found some wear but nothing major. The advantage with older Scanias is any decent machinist knows how to work on them and parts aren't impossible to find. Block crane handles heavy lifting better than smaller units.
