We're selling our 1992 Mercedes Benz tanker because honestly we just don't use it that much anymore. Yeah it's old but you know how these Mercedes trucks are - built like a brick house and just keep going. Our operator who's been with us for years swears by this truck, says the engine's smoother than trucks half its age. Tank's held up great over the decades, no rust issues or leaks that we've seen. The cab shows its age sure - some worn spots on the seats, dashboard's got that vintage look. But everything works fine. Starts up every morning without fuss, even in winter. Transmission's smooth, brakes are good. We had our mechanic look it over recently and he said it's got plenty of life left. This special machinery could probably outlast newer trucks if you take care of it. Paint's faded pretty bad and there's some scratches but that's just character at this point.
