We've got this Massey Ferguson 240 that's been sitting here a while now. 2WD setup, nothing complicated about it. Good for smaller operations where you don't need massive power. Engine's reliable enough - fires up when you turn the key, doesn't give much trouble. The operator gets basic controls, seat's not fancy but it works. Been through a few different owners over the years but that's pretty normal. Our specialist says it's typical for this model - hydraulics are slow but they get there eventually. Maintenance isn't too bad on these older machines. The driver can see fine, though the mirrors could be better positioned. Had our machinist take a look at the engine recently, said it sounds normal for a 240. Transmission's manual, shifts okay most times.
