Finally managed to get hold of this VIDA 37-seater after chasing the supplier for three months. Been selling buses for 12 years and these former Daewoo models always move fast. That rear-mounted 250 HP Doosan engine hardly breaks a sweat even on steep grades - took it up past the quarry road myself on Tuesday. Korean gearbox feels notchy when cold but smooths right out once warmed up. Had our specialist look over the braking system yesterday - reckons they've got at least another 40,000 miles before needing attention. The driver who brought it in from the port wouldn't stop talking about how planted it feels around corners compared to similar models. Interior's grey and practical - nothing fancy but everything's where it should be. Noticed the A/C runs quieter than most - advantage when you've got 37 passengers wanting to chat.
